Shane F. Hampton

Firm partner Shane Hampton dedicates his practice to representing victims of mesothelioma and asbestos exposure. He has worked closely with hundreds of families throughout the country and recovered millions on their behalf.

Shane works on all types of mesothelioma cases caused by asbestos exposure, and many of those cases involve construction workers and automobile mechanics that were exposed to asbestos on the job. He has recently obtained recoveries of $3.5 million for a mechanic from southern Illinois, $3.8 million for a mechanic from central Illinois, $3.4 million for a mechanic from New Jersey, and $3.3 million for a construction worker from Tennessee. Shane is licensed to practice law in IL and MO but regularly works as co-counsel on mesothelioma cases in other states and jurisdictions throughout the country. 

Shane has extensive courtroom experience and his litigation background includes product, premises and medical liability, environmental and toxic torts, business litigation, auto accidents, and insurance law. Prior to joining the Simmons firm in 2005, Shane was a general civil litigation attorney practicing predominantly in St. Louis, MO and Madison and St.Clair counties in Illinois.
