Simmons Hanly Conroy Team

The Firm is a leading national law firm representing individuals and businesses in cases of corporate wrongdoing. Today the Simmons mesothelioma lawyers working in our asbestos litigation department remain dedicated to victims of cancer.

Our attorneys have earned a national reputation in cases of toxic exposure to asbestos. The Firm is committed to obtaining landmark verdicts for its clients, including a $250 million verdict against U.S. Steel on behalf of a former steelworker. This verdict is the largest single verdict in the history of the litigation.

The firm has recovered over $4 billion in verdicts and settlements and is involved in multiple areas of complex litigation in addition to asbestos. This includes pharmaceutical injury cases, business and commercial disputes and intellectual property litigation. Our team includes some of the nation’s leading litigators with over 60 attorneys and offices in St. Louis, Mo.; Alton and Chicago, Ill.; and El Segundo and San Francisco, Calif.

Client Relations Team

Many people are uncertain about the litigation process and have unanswered questions or concerns. This is understandable because litigation can be intimidating. The Firm employs an experienced client relations team that begins the initial phase of the litigation process.

staffThe client relations team at the Firm is a group of individuals who handle incoming calls through our Call Center. Our client relations group answers incoming calls 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. CST. These professionals are responsible for responding to inquiries and questions about litigation. This can occur through the website or through a phone call.

The ultimate goal of our client relations group is to determine if there is potential for a successful case from the information provided by the potential client. This usually occurs through a general screening in which the client relations professional asks the appropriate questions to determine eligibility. If the individual has a potential case, the client relations professional will forward the information to the suitable litigation team member.

Investigators

At the Firm, the first step of our litigation process involves identifying and evaluating a case. Not everyone is a suitable candidate for a mesothelioma, pharmaceutical, personal injury or intellectual property lawsuit. To determine eligibility of our potential clients, our experienced and knowledgeable investigators are responsible.

Our investigators are the professionals who speak with you about your circumstances to determine if you have a case. Depending on your location, our investigators will travel to you to discuss the potential for filling a mesothelioma lawsuit or other type of lawsuit through the Firm.

The litigation process can be complicated. The goal of an investigator is to guide you through the first phase of the process with ease. The investigators at the Firm will work with you through the paperwork and initial information to push your case to the next phase. The Firm lawyers then take over by handling and implementing the next step of the litigation process.

No matter what your specific situation may be, you are most likely dealing with a stressful, emotional time in your life. Our investigators are experienced in working with individuals who are dealing with a life-changing situation, whether it is a pharmaceutical injury, personal injury, intellectual property mishap, or a mesothelioma diagnosis. You can feel confident knowing our investigators are here to help you by guiding you through the beginning steps of litigation.

Jim was proud of his service to his country and the time he spent in the U.S. Navy. But like many proud Americans, he always felt he should have been warned about the dangers of asbestos.
