“We understand the disease process and what is does to the families but at the same time we are very hard-working attorneys.”

Transcript: Perry Browder

Perry Browder:  Every family that I’ve ever met, every client that I ever worked with has always left an impression and has really changed my life.  But when I look back on it, the individuals that are sick and that are going through great pain, they have simple expectations.  I had one client that was in Iowa and his main concern wasn’t for himself.  He was going through severe pain and horrible treatments but was his wife.  He wanted to make sure that before he died she was taken care of.  We have a team structure where there’s a team of attorneys, legal assistants, nurses that will work up your case so you’ll get the personal attention in that sense.  But the nice thing is we are a very large firm. We can bring the resources to go after large companies.  The whole staff is sympathetic.  We understand the disease process and what is does to the families but at the same time we are very hard-working attorneys. We know we have to get results for these individuals so we will push hard. We will turn over ever stone.  Nobody wants to bring a lawsuit but under the circumstances it’s the only way to help them out.  By going in there and treating them as family you can help get the information. We can make the process easier.  It’s not as formal and rigid but at the same time we have to encourage them and tell them how this is a fight.  As they’re fighting for their health and their survival to get more days with their family, they also have a fight on their hands to fight these companies and we will help them through that.
