Firm Shareholders Browder, Barnerd and Phillips Speak at Perrin’s Asbestos Litigation Conference, “Cutting-Edge Issues in Asbestos Litigation”

On February 25-26 attorneys gathered in Southern California to hear thought leaders speak at Perrin’s Asbestos Litigation Conference, “Cutting-Edge Issues in Asbestos Litigation.” Speakers included three of the firm’s shareholders: Perry Browder, who leads the firm’s asbestos litigation department; John Barnerd, co-head of asbestos litigation; and Robert Phillips, head of bankruptcy.

Perry Browder covered “Asbestos Litigation in 2010 & Beyond – Current and Emerging Trends,” noting that, “For us, it’s not about statistics; it’s about people.”

John Barnerd discussed asbestos litigation in Delaware during the panel, “Where are the New & Emerging Venues?” Meanwhile, Robert Phillips helped lead the discussion on bankruptcy in asbestos litigation during “The Role of Trusts in the Asbestos Compensation System.”
