Depending on the specifics of a particular case, we are open to working on a full contingency basis. Rather than charging hourly rates, we charge you a percentage of your total recovery from the litigation we handle. In other words, we don't win unless you win. This helps you avoid paying up-front fees for service and helps you avoid having to settle your case or dispute for anything less than it truly merits.  

We also have the flexibility to offer blended rates, sliding scales, or other billing arrangements to meet your business requirements.

Simmons Law Firm Announces Settlement of Contingent Fee Antitrust Lawsuit, $32 Million Deal

Synergetics USA, Inc. (NASDAQ: SURG) is a small business that sells light sources, instruments and tools used in vitreoretinal surgery, a highly specialized type of eye surgery. When Synergetics felt that one of its competitors unlawfully used its market dominance to force surgeons to buy its own equipment, Synergetics came to the Simmons law firm for help.

Partner Derek Brandt and a small team of attorneys from the Simmons Law Firm prosecuted a civil antitrust and unfair competition lawsuit under a contingent fee arrangement. Under the arrangement, Synergetics wouldn’t have to pay attorneys’ fees unless its case was resolved favorably, and then as a percentage of recovery. The partnership between Simmons and Synergetics led to a multi-million dollar business deal and settlement.
