“Many of my clients are unfamiliar with the law,” Greg said. “A big part of my job is to put their minds at ease so they can rest easy knowing they have someone like me on their side. My experience allows me to protect the interests of my clients and get the best results achievable for them and their family members.”

Greg joined the Simmons firm in 2005. He has extensive trial experience prosecuting both felonies and misdemeanors as an assistant state’s attorney in Madison and Jackson counties. In addition, Greg served as the city attorney of Alton.

Greg graduated cum laude with his B.A. from Bradley University in Peoria, where he was nominated for the Harry S. Truman Scholarship and on the Dean’s List. He earned his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1987.

Greg has been admitted to the U.S. District Court in both the Southern and Central Districts of Illinois and to the bar in Illinois. He is a member of the Alton-Wood River Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Illinois Association of Trial Lawyers and Illinois State Bar Association.
