Benefiting H.I.S. K.I.D.S (Happiness is Serving Kids in Distress Situations)
The fifth annual Simmons Employee Foundation Golf Tournament will be held September 18th at 1: 30 p.m. 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The tournament will be held at the Sunset Hills golf course in Edwardsville, Illinois.
100% of the net proceeds from the tournament will benefit Benefiting H.I.S. K.I.D.S (Happiness is Serving Kids in Distress Situations), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families that have a child diagnosed with cancer.
This year’s tournament will be a four-man scramble and will feature cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place temas in each of three flights. Entry fees include greens fee, cart rental, lunch or dinner, soda and beer on the course, and a complimentary gift. It’s just $100 per player or $400 per foursome. Teams paid by September 11 will be entered in a drawing for four St. Louis Cardinals baseball game tickets.

About H.I.S. K.I.D.S
Jim and Connie Miles founded H.I.S. K.I.D.S., Inc in 1984 following the death of their eleven-year-old daughter, Marcia to cancer. During the two years following, the Miles continued their involvement with childhood cancer families, clinics and hospitals thus realizing the great need for an organized outreach to these special children and their families and the Non-profit 501(c)(3) organization was born.
There is no other organization serving children with cancer and their families in the same way that HIS KIDS does. Each year HIS KIDS programs and services are offered to 2,000 seriously ill children and family members in our Midwest and Florida Regions combined. Every possible means is used to provide emotional, physical and spiritual support as well as emergency assistance to the families of children with cancer and related illnesses. All services and programs are provided at no charge and without regard to race, creed, color or financial ability.
