A large East Alton-based law firm plans to consolidate its seven area offices into one, by moving into the vacant, former Jefferson Smurfit building in Alton.
John Simmons of Godfrey, founding shareholder at SimmonsCooper LLC at 707 Berkshire Blvd., made the announcement Monday at an outdoor employee luncheon.
“Over time, we grew and added locations, we added six locations,” to the main office building, Simmons said in an interview with The Telegraph.
