Dennis Geier is an attorney at Simmons Hanly Conroy with over 17 years of experience practicing law. At the firm, he focuses on handling asbestos and mass tort cases. His role involves briefing and deposing witnesses with the trial teams as well as the various steering committees on the mass tort side.

“I became a lawyer because it is a profession unlike most others. It gives me the ability to address wrongdoing in a more significant way than almost any other job,” Dennis explained. “Fighting for those that are injured by large companies is the best part of being a lawyer.”

Securing Meaningful Results

Over the last 14 years, Dennis has helped hundreds of mesothelioma clients and their families secure asbestos settlements and verdicts.

Before joining Simmons Hanly Conroy, Dennis was a lawyer at Cohen, Placitella & Roth P.C. in Red Bank, New Jersey. He worked on asbestos cases, mass torts, class actions and general product liability cases.

“My dedication and attention to detail serve to help my clients get successful results,” Dennis said. “I love to be able to focus on individual cases and see something no one else has noticed before.”

Compassionate and Accessible

As an attorney, Dennis’s goal has been to make the process as stress-free as possible for our clients and to be available when they need him.

“Clients know they can contact me directly without worrying about a gatekeeper,” he said. “I pride myself on being available to clients because I know that they are handling a serious health condition at the same time they are trying to pursue litigation. Worrying about how to get in contact with their attorney should not be one of their concerns.”

Overall, Dennis’s compassionate and accessible approach to his work has helped countless clients navigate the legal process with ease and peace of mind.

Giving Back to His Local Community

When not practicing the law, Dennis is an active member in his local community. He strongly believes in giving back and making a positive impact beyond the courtroom.

Dennis serves as a youth softball coach in addition to volunteering at the U.S. Junior Chamber or Jaycees chapter. In June 2023, he will join the Democratic Committee for his local district in New Jersey, where he plans to help drive positive change and make a difference in his community.
