Bailey W. Prebish

Bailey W. Prebish is an asbestos attorney at Simmons Hanly Conroy, where he supports individuals and families affected by mesothelioma.

He takes a hands-on approach with each case, working closely alongside clients to piece together their exposure history and hold the responsible parties accountable.

“The generation of people that we are often seeing in asbestos claims have been taken advantage of earlier in life, and now they are at some of the worst points in their lives,” said Bailey. “I do everything and anything that I can to help these clients receive some relief.”

Standing By Clients Through Life’s Hardest Chapters

Bailey works directly with clients from the earliest stages of their case through to resolution. He travels to meet with them and gather evidence used to build the foundation of their mesothelioma lawsuit.

That work often starts with identifying exactly which asbestos products a client was exposed to and where, whether on a job site, in the military, or through a family member’s work. Bailey also takes depositions that preserve a client’s testimony and firsthand account of their exposure history.

“Meeting all kinds of new people, learning their histories, and exploring their pasts is one of my favorite parts of this work,” said Bailey.

In addition to building close relationships with his clients, Bailey is committed to holding negligent companies accountable for the harm their products caused and pursuing the compensation his clients deserve. Working at an established national firm allows him to do just that.

Background & Experience

Bailey graduated cum laude from Duquesne University with a bachelor’s in education and a concentration in history. During his time at Duquesne, he was awarded Order of Omega’s Greek Man of the Year and received Duquesne University’s Outstanding Senior award.

Bailey went on to attend the Kline School of Law at Duquesne University, where he earned his Juris Doctor. After graduating, he worked for an asbestos firm in Pennsylvania.

In addition to his legal work, Bailey serves as an Adjunct Professor at Mount Aloysius College, where he draws on his background in education and law to teach students.

Outside of his work at the firm, Bailey enjoys acting in musicals put on by local community theaters. He has recently performed in Frozen, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Beauty & the Beast, and The Producers.
