Attorney Brenna Lawler focuses her practice on mesothelioma litigation at Simmons Hanly Conroy, where she helps clients navigate the legal process from the moment their case begins.

Brenna is committed to making sure her clients feel comfortable, valued, and prioritized throughout their pursuit of justice and compensation.

“I bring a sense of compassion to my practice that allows me to foster a strong relationship with those we represent,” Brenna said. “I want my clients to feel they can bond with me on both a personal and professional level.”

Building Strong Cases Through Client Testimony

Brenna works closely with clients to gather detailed information about the companies responsible for exposing them to asbestos. Her role centers on eliciting testimony that accurately reflects each client’s unique experience.

“I love getting to know my clients,” Brenna expressed. “I enjoy hearing their stories and letting them talk about experiences they may have never gotten to share.”

Through these conversations, Brenna works to piece together the specific asbestos products her clients encountered throughout their careers or daily lives, whether on a job site, in a home, or elsewhere, and identifies which companies should be named as defendants in their case.

With her sharp attention to detail, Brenna builds strong mesothelioma claims for families and fights for the justice they deserve.

“While we may not be able to cure our clients of their illness, it’s rewarding to see them be compensated for the negligence of others,” Brenna said.

Background & Experience

Brenna graduated from Allegheny College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a concentration in Law & Policy. She went on to attend Duquesne University, where she earned her Juris Doctor and received an award for Outstanding Oral Argument.

Prior to joining Simmons Hanly Conroy, Brenna worked at a smaller asbestos law firm in Pennsylvania, where she managed approximately 50 cases from start to resolution. That experience gave her a thorough understanding of what clients need at every stage of their case.

Outside of her casework, Brenna mentors law students preparing for the bar exam. Her dedication to her clients and her ability to build genuine relationships with those she serves make her a valuable addition to the Simmons Hanly Conroy team.
