“For years, I worked as a copy editor in the newspaper industry,” explained Nick. “I have perfected an eye for detail and pride myself on my analysis skills.”

At Simmons Hanly Conroy, Nick’s responsibilities include performing first reviews and preparing materials for depositions. His proficiency with tools like DISCO eDiscovery software ensures that every case is managed efficiently and effectively.

Nick has experience with many different areas of law, including antitrust matters, contract disputes, intellectual property, ERISA cases, and more.

Background & Experience

During his undergraduate career, Nick studied journalism and sociology at Northern Illinois University, where he was named Illinois Student Journalist of the Year in 2016.

Nick’s passion for reading and writing ultimately led him to the legal profession. He earned his Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law, graduating cum laude with an International Law Certificate.

Prior to joining Simmons Hanly Conroy, Nick worked as an associate attorney, where he gained comprehensive experience representing clients in court and managing cases from start to finish.

He was also employed by an eDiscovery firm, which allowed him to hone his skills in reviewing and analyzing complex legal documents.
