Julie’s Story

Julie never worked with asbestos, but her father did as an electrician for 40 years. He would leave his dusty work clothes in the laundry room, which was also Julie’s playroom.

Unfortunately, Julie was diagnosed with mesothelioma due to secondhand exposure decades later. Thankfully, our mesothelioma lawyers in St. Louis helped her afford life-saving treatment and spend more time with her daughter.

“Simmons Hanly Conroy represented me. I love them,” Julie said. “They have been incredibly helpful and supportive to me — beyond any expectations anybody could have of legal representatives.”

Brenda’s Story

In 2004, Brenda visited a doctor after experiencing abdominal swelling and difficulty breathing. A CT scan revealed a dark mass on her abdomen, which was identified as peritoneal mesothelioma.

During her childhood, Brenda’s father, a subcontractor, unknowingly brought asbestos fibers home on his work clothes. Later in life, she was exposed again through her ex-husband’s work as a mechanic.

Thanks to our St. Louis mesothelioma attorneys, Brenda was able to afford treatment from a specialist that ultimately helped her combat the disease.

Glennon’s Story

In 1983, Glennon began working as a drywaller in St. Louis. He applied textured spray and popcorn ceilings in Missouri homes, unaware of the dangerous asbestos products he was exposed to on a daily basis.

In 2018, just a few years after he and his wife Armella retired, Glennon was diagnosed with peritoneal mesothelioma. Before he passed away, the couple worked with our St. Louis mesothelioma lawyers to secure their family’s financial future.

“Thanks to Simmons Hanly Conroy and all its great people, we feel confident that Glenn is looking down with pride, knowing that his struggle didn’t go in vain,” said Armella.

Linda’s Story

Linda spent years working at a custom limousine facility in Missouri, where she regularly serviced asbestos-containing brakes manufactured by Ford Motor Company. Years later, Linda was diagnosed with pleural mesothelioma.

In the wake of her diagnosis, Linda wanted to make sure her family would be taken care of after she passed away, so she urged them to contact our St. Louis asbestos attorneys and pursue compensation.

“The Simmons difference is those people are absolutely top shelf,” said Linda’s husband Howard. “I didn’t have to do anything except make a phone call, and the kids did that for me. That was an awesome bunch of people.”
