  • OSHA Cites Ford’s Buffalo Plant Over Asbestos
    Ford Motor Company’s Buffalo-area plant has been cited by federal safety officials for alleged asbestos violations. OSHA officials say inspectors found eight violations within the plant.
  • Asbestos Found at Site of June 5 Collapse
    A four-story building in Philadelphia collapsed during demolition on June 5. Since then, contractors have found remnants of asbestos in the debris. This raises questions concerning the paperwork previously filed by the building owners to get demolition permits.
  • Hospital Faces Asbestos Suit
    Five construction workers are suing McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Oregon as well as a Utah construction contractor. The workers are citing deceitful and irresponsible oversight of a demolition and remodeling job that exposed them to airborne asbestos fibers.
