Thank you for being a part of the Miles for Meso community and the 9th Annual Alton Miles for Meso 5K Run & 3K Fun Run/Walk. This year’s race had a record turnout, and we’re thankful to everyone who took part in the day’s festivities.
Here is some additional information regarding post-race results and how you can continue to be involved.
Funds Raised
This year the race raised $30,000 for the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO), a non-profit dedicated to securing a global ban of asbestos and providing support to victims of asbestos-related diseases.
The top three team fundraisers for this year’s race are:

- “#ENDMeso” Team
- The Friends and Family of Virgil E. Williams
Results
Congratulations to the winners of this year’s race. Keith Meyer, of Bloomington, Illinois placed first overall in the men’s division with a time of 15:10. Jackie Pirtle-Hall, of St. Charles, Missouri, placed first overall in the women’s division with a time of 17:13.

Miles for Meso Returns
Planning for the 10th Annual Alton Miles for Meso 5K Race & 3K Fun Run/Walk has already started. The race will return Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018. Be sure to mark your calendars!
