The Firm’s Miles for Meso 5K event will be held in Alton, Illinois on Sat., Sept. 21, 2013. This year marks the fifth anniversary of the race, and approximately 1,000 people are expected to participate.
The first Miles for Meso race was held in 2009. Since then, this event has raised $100,000 for mesothelioma cancer research. The sponsors of the race play a huge role in the amount of funds raised.
The deadline to become a sponsor is August 21. If you are interested, there are four sponsorship levels. They include:
Bronze $500 – The Bronze Sponsorship includes a small company logo on the Miles for Meso T-shirt, items in the goody bag, company name included on the Miles for Meso web site, table at vendor fair and 4 Race Day passes.
Silver $1,000 – The Silver Sponsorship includes the above with the following upgrades: medium company logo on the Miles for Meso T-shirt, company logo and link included on the website, inclusion in press releases and e-blasts and 6 Race Day passes.
Gold $2,000 – The Gold Sponsorship includes the above with the following upgrades: large company logo on the Miles for Meso T-shirt, company logo and link included on main Alton race page and online registration page, inclusion in press releases and e-blasts, inclusion in Alton Telegraph print ad, social media mentions and 8 Race Day passes.
Platinum $5,000 – The Platinum Radio Sponsorship includes the above with the following upgrades: recognition as the platinum sponsors in radio spots in the weeks leading up to the race, logo included on runners’ bib numbers, largo logo given priority placement in banners/T-shirts and 10 Race Day passes.
Another option available to businesses is to take part in a $100 vendor sponsorship. This sponsorship reserves a table for your company at our popular vendor fair.
