ADAO: The Face of Asbestos Victims and their Fight to Ban Asbestos

Online registration for the 9th Annual Miles for Meso 5K will close on Sept. 22 – only 10 days away. If you’re looking for additional inspiration to sign-up this year, consider running in memory of someone who lost their battle with mesothelioma or is currently in the middle of their fight.

This year, the ADAO Mesothelioma Warrior Virtual Team will once again accept submissions of the names of mesothelioma survivors of victims. The purpose of this team is to honor or remember those who have fought against this rare and devastating disease. Names will be featured on commemorative race bids and will be worn by runners in attendance at the race.

If you plan to run in this year’s race and would like to run wearing one of these names, you can click that option when registering. If you’ve already registered but have since decided you’d like to run in memory or honor of someone, simply email Alli Piper at [email protected]
