Simmons Hanly Conroy Partner Lisa Nathanson Busch Speaking at Mass Torts Made Perfect 2026

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Simmons Hanly Conroy, a leading national mesothelioma law firm for patients and their families, announced that partner Lisa Nathanson Busch will speak at the Mass Torts Made Perfect (MTMP) Seminar, taking place Oct. 13-15.

Busch will participate in the breakout session “Asbestos in 2026: Where Is the Litigation Heading Now?” on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m. at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The panel will address the complexity of locating insurance coverage and resolving recovery disputes, the latest developments in asbestos bankruptcies, strategies for navigating legacy asbestos cases, the shifting talc litigation landscape, and the use of genetic testing defenses at trial.

“The asbestos and talc landscape is changing quickly, from bankruptcy maneuvering to the science defendants are putting in front of juries,” said Busch, who serves on Simmons Hanly Conroy’s leadership team. “Forums like MTMP are where the plaintiffs’ bar provides important updates in mass tort litigation, and I’m glad to be part of that conversation.”

Based in the firm’s New York office, Busch brings nearly 30 years of experience to her practice in mass tort and mesothelioma litigation. Since 2000, she has helped more than 30,000 clients pursue compensation through asbestos trust fund claims.

She serves as an active member of more than 20 trust advisory committees and chairs several of them, and she is a founding chair of the American Association for Justice Tort Bankruptcy Group. She has helped develop and streamline the claims process for over 50 asbestos trusts.

Busch has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® for Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Plaintiffs and Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs (2022-2027) as well as selected as a New York Metro Super Lawyer® and a National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Plaintiff attorney.

MTMP is the largest gathering of mass tort attorneys in the world, drawing more than 2,000 participants from all 50 states. The three-day seminar brings plaintiff attorneys and paralegals together to network, collaborate, and learn strategies from the leaders of the nation’s most significant litigations.
