Alton, Ill. – The SHC Foundation, the employee-led charitable foundation of Simmons Hanly Conroy, has donated $40,000 to The Restore Network of Southern Illinois, with funds raised through the Foundation’s 19th Annual Golf Tournament.
Presented following this year’s tournament, the donation will support The Restore Network’s mission of strengthening foster families and improving the foster care system throughout Southern Illinois. The organization partners with local community organizations to equip foster families with the resources and support needed to provide stability and care for children who have experienced trauma.
“The generosity of our employees, tournament sponsors, golfers and volunteers made this year’s donation possible,” said SHC Foundation Director Tamara Jesse. “The Restore Network is making a meaningful difference in the lives of foster families and children across our region, and we are honored to support its mission through this year’s fundraising efforts.”
The SHC Foundation’s annual golf tournament has become one of the organization’s signature fundraising events. With this year’s contribution, the tournament has raised more than $397,000 over its 19-year history for nonprofits serving communities throughout Southern Illinois.
