Simmons Hanly Conroy Attorneys David Miceli and Michael Stewart will present during the 2012 Mass Torts Made Perfect & Torts Made Perfect seminars, a plaintiff’s CLE event providing attendees an opportunity to learn from some of the most successful attorneys in America. The event runs April 19-20 at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.
Pharmaceutical liability attorney David Miceli will present “Tales from the Crypt: Chapter 1 on Good & Bad Experts” on Friday during the Mass Torts Made Perfect section of the event.
Miceli has extensive experience litigating dangerous drug and medical devices, having served on many multidistrict litigation cases including Chantix, Traysolo and Bextra. He will provide attendees with tips on distinguishing between good and bad experts.
Personal injury attorney Mike Stewart will present during the Torts Made Perfect portion of the event during the Friday morning session, which will focus on addressing proof and argument of damages for those injuries, illnesses, and conditions that are “unseen” by the human eye or via diagnostic test or study.
Stewart has extensive experience litigation personal injury, toxic tort exposure and wrongful death cases. He will provide attendees with a better understanding and appreciation of the necessity of utilizing grief and bereavement experts in wrongful death cases. His session is entitled, “Concepts and Innovative Strategies in Direct & Cross-Examination of Grief and Bereavement Experts.”
