Simmons Hanly Conroy, a national litigation firm, is pleased to announce that the firm has been named by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch newspaper as one of the Top Workplaces in the St. Louis area for 2016. The firm is headquartered just north of St. Louis across of the Mississippi River and also has an office in St. Louis in addition to four other offices across the country.
More than 1,200 companies in the region were invited to participate with less than 10 percent earning a place on the Top Workplaces list. The Top Workplaces are selected based on surveys completed by employees. The top 100 companies, as ranked by their employees, are then featured in a special section of the Post-Dispatch that was published Sunday. This year Simmons Hanly Conroy ranked 25th in the midsized category with 100 to 500 employees each. The firm also was ranked in 2013 and 2014. The firm did not participate in the survey in 2015.

Simmons Hanly Conroy received high marks in the survey for attributes including values and ethics, benefits, and employee confidence.
“I can’t help but to fall in love with the families we serve, knowing I’m doing everything in my power to help them in a time of need,” said one employee in the firm’s Asbestos Department, according to the survey. “I love my job because of the purpose we work for and the people I work with.”
Simmons Hanly Conroy is one of the country’s leading mesothelioma law firms, helping those affected by asbestos-related diseases, such as mesothelioma. With approximately 200 local employees, the firm is the largest plaintiff’s law firm in the St. Louis Area. In addition to Alton and St. Louis, the firm also has offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The top survey responses from employees on what they find most motivating about working at Simmons Hanly Conroy include new challenges on a daily basis, providing restitution to families, and the impact the firm makes in people’s lives.
