St. Louis Business Journal Recognizes Plaintiff’s Firm as 2013 Healthiest Employer Finalist
Simmons Hanly Conroy LLC, one of the largest plaintiff’s law firms in the St. Louis area, is a finalist for the 2013 Healthiest Employer in St. Louis, an award presented by the St. Louis Business Journal. The firm was also named a finalist in 2011.
The award honors the most outstanding health and wellness programs created and implemented by local companies. It also recognizes companies and nonprofit entities’ commitment to making wellness a priority and proactively shapes the health of their employees.
The Firm Wellness Program currently offers a variety of resources and activities to help employees sustain and jumpstart a healthy lifestyle. The Firm’s wellness plan provides well-rounded support for employees’ health development and needs, including informative events and resources such as wellness exams and exercise challenges, weekly delivery of healthy food choices, regular nurse visits and complimentary gym memberships.

The firm joins a list of 30 other St. Louis businesses on the Healthiest Employer finalists list. The firm is ranked in Category 4 of companies with 100 to 499 employees. Applicants submitted a detailed description of their company wellness programs, health benefits and other related activities. In addition, company employees took an online wellness survey, sponsored by Healthiest Employers.
Finalists will be honored with an awards banquet Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Renaissance Grand Hotel where the 2013 award winners will be announced. A special section profiling the finalists and the winners will run in the Oct. 11 edition of the Business Journal.
